In a historic step toward strengthening student journalism at Fountain University, the Executive President of the Fountain University Students’ Association (FUSA), Rtr. Hammed A. Osuolale, has issued Executive Order No. 001 of 2025, officially transitioning the Campus Journalist Society (CJS) into the Union of Campus Journalists, Fountain University (UCJ-FUSA).
The newly established UCJ-FUSA now serves as the official umbrella body for all student journalists, writers, broadcasters, and media enthusiasts within Fountain University. Enforcement This Executive Order takes immediate effect. All stakeholders, including the leadership of the former Campus Journalist Society, interested student journalists, and relevant partners, are directed to comply fully.
In the words of the President:
“This transition is not merely a change of name, it is a strategic reform to build a professional, organized, and coordinated campus press that amplifies student voices, promotes accountability, and strengthens the values of our university.”
